Dr. Candice Cooper-Lovett is a licensed marriage and family therapist, nationally recognized sex therapist, consultant, and speaker with over 20+ years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through the most intimate and transformational aspects of their lives. She is the founder and CEO of A New Creation Psychotherapy Services, LLC, a holistic group practice in Fayetteville, Georgia, as well as The Tantric MFT LLC, a tantric and spiritual healing practice.

Deeply rooted in a Post-Traumatic Growth and Transpersonal Psychology perspective, Dr. Cooper-Lovett specializes in treating trauma—including intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual assault, and infidelity recovery—with a culturally attuned and spiritually grounded approach. Her work focuses on helping clients move from survival to empowerment, with a unique emphasis on women’s sexuality, pleasure, and personal evolution.

Dr. Cooper-Lovett’s academic credentials span some of the country’s most respected institutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo, a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University. She is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and is certified as a sex therapist through AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists).

As a nationally sought-after speaker and thought leader, Dr. Cooper-Lovett has appeared on radio shows, podcasts, panels, and television—sharing insights on social justice, energetic healing, post-traumatic growth, and sexual empowerment. Her work has been featured in numerous peer-reviewed journals and popular outlets including Bustle, Vogue, Yahoo Lifestyle, Scary Mommy, Sheen Magazine, and MadameNoire.
