Contribution Policy

Contribution Policy

The following terms and conditions govern the acceptance and handling of contributions, research support funding, gifts, and financial support made to NexCere Research Institute, Inc., an independent research organization dedicated to advancing neuroscience, emotional intelligence, relational health, and ethically informed human-centered innovation.

1. Acceptance of Contributions

All financial contributions, research support, gifts, grants, and funding are accepted at the sole discretion of NexCere Research Institute, Inc. We reserve the right to decline any contribution that does not align with our mission, values, ethical standards, or operational priorities.

2. Contributor Financial Wellbeing

NexCere Research Institute, Inc. will not knowingly accept any irrevocable contribution or financial commitment that could reasonably compromise the contributor’s personal financial wellbeing.

3. No Legal, Financial, or Tax Advice

NexCere Research Institute, Inc. does not provide legal, financial, investment, or tax advice. Contributors are encouraged to consult qualified advisors before making financial contributions or commitments.

4. Nature of Contributions

Contributions made to NexCere Research Institute, Inc. support research initiatives, educational development, public awareness efforts, technology exploration, and organizational operations.

At this time, contributions should not be interpreted as charitable donations for tax deduction purposes unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

5. Types of Accepted Contributions

We may accept the following forms of support:

  • Debit or credit card payments
  • Electronic transfers
  • Checks
  • Research sponsorships
  • In-kind contributions relevant to our mission

The following may require additional review or documentation:

  • Real estate
  • Tangible personal property
  • Securities or equity interests
  • Restricted-use funding
  • Contributions involving legal or reputational risk considerations

NexCere Research Institute, Inc. reserves the right to conduct additional due diligence when appropriate.

6. Acknowledgment of Contributions

We may provide written acknowledgment confirming receipt of accepted contributions. Contributors are solely responsible for consulting their own advisors regarding financial, legal, or tax treatment.

7. Contributor Intent and Privacy

We respect the intentions and privacy of our supporters. Information shared with NexCere Research Institute, Inc. is handled confidentially and accessed only by authorized personnel when necessary for operational purposes.

8. No Compensation for Referrals

NexCere Research Institute, Inc. does not provide commissions, referral fees, or compensation for directing contributors or financial support to the organization.
